This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the AI Translate Voice Translator app published by KN Apps Studio on the Apple App Store. By downloading or using this app, you agree to the practices described below.

1. About This App

AI Translate Voice Translator is powered by the Google Cloud Translation API, which processes your translation requests on Google's servers and returns results to the app in real time. Your saved favourites and translation history are stored locally on your device only.

2. Data We Collect

KN Apps Studio collects the following limited data to operate and improve the app:

  • Usage Data — how you interact with app features, session duration, in-app events.
  • Device Identifier — a non-personal Device ID used for advertising and analytics. Does not include your name or email.
  • Coarse Location — approximate city/region level only. No precise GPS data collected.
  • Crash & Diagnostics Data — used solely to identify and fix bugs and improve stability.
  • Advertising Data — ad interaction data to measure effectiveness of ads in the free app.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect or Store

KN Apps Studio does not collect, store or process:

  • Your translation text or voice recordings on our servers
  • Your name, email address or personal identity
  • Your favourites or translation history (stored on-device only)
  • Any photos or camera images you use for translation

4. Google Cloud Translation API

Translation requests (text you enter, speak, or capture via camera) are sent securely over HTTPS to Google Cloud Translation API for processing. These requests are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. KN Apps Studio does not store or access the content of your translation requests.

Google may retain translation query data in accordance with their own data retention policies. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy for full details.

5. On-Device Storage

Your saved Favourites and Translation History are stored exclusively on your device using local iOS storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to KN Apps Studio or any third party.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Google Cloud Translation API — processes translation requests. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdMob — serves ads in the free version. May use Device ID and coarse location.
  • Firebase Analytics — crash reporting and usage analytics.
  • Apple App Store — app distribution. See Apple Privacy Policy.

7. Internet Requirement

Live translation features require an active internet connection to communicate with Google Cloud Translation API. Your saved Favourites are accessible offline at any time.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your region you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights contact us at help@knappsstudio.com. You can also limit ad tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is rated 4+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided personal information.

10. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
